Green transport options

The diocesan museum is located right next to Maribo Station. With a change in Nykøbing Falster, it only takes 1 hour and 45 minutes from Copenhagen H., and the train runs once an hour. Check Itinerary for departures and more information.

In addition, the museum is located on the following cycle routes:
The National Cycle Route 8: The Baltic Sea Route – 820 km over Zealand, the islands, Funen and Jutland.
Safari by bike – 22 km which goes through Knuthenborg Safaripark.
Forest, coast and wine – 41 km which starts in Maribo and takes you all the way up to Blan's harbour.
In the land of sea eagles – 36 km around the beautiful Nature Park Maribosøerne.

Availability

STIFTSMUSEET is located right by Maribo station. The museum is housed in an old building from 1890 on 3 floors. Wheelchair users have access to the Tourist Information and the OMG exhibition on the ground floor via a ramp in front of the museum. 

The rest of the museum's exhibit is only accessible to pedestrians as there are stairs. 

Dogs
Dogs that can be in a bag are welcome in the exhibition.
If you have a larger dog, it is very welcome to wait outside the museum while you enjoy the exhibition.

Parking
There are a few handicap parking spaces at the museum itself, whereas there is parking for everyone at the railway station square.
