How were Easter eggs actually dyed in the past? What beautiful patterns could be created, and what plants and natural materials gave the shell the golden yellow, deep brown or delicate blue hues?
In the days leading up to Easter, we invite you to cozy experiments where we explore old methods together - and where only your imagination sets the limits.
You can also challenge the family to an egg race, cut a beautiful Easter letter for someone you love, or make the finest Easter decoration to take home. Come and join in on some real Easter fun for the whole family!
NB. The Old Houses open at 10 am, but the activities do not begin until 11 am. You can visit the open-air museum until 16.00 pm.
