Come and sing about freedom, peace and spring on the occasion of the 81th anniversary of Denmark's liberation.
In Reventlow Park, the trees have sprouted and in the beautiful riding house from 1870 we meet and let Ensemble Storstrøm lead us through an atmospheric afternoon with songs such as Den blå Anemone, Man bind os på Mund og Hånd, Kringsat av fiender – and many more. The emcee is singer and radio host Rie Koch.
This year, the Greenlandic choir Aqisseq will also participate, adding new perspectives to the liberation theme.
Towards the end of World War II, German refugees were interned in Reventlow Park, and therefore there is a very special story to tell as we celebrate peace, spring and community this evening. So bring the whole family and experience an atmosphere out of the ordinary.
When dusk falls, we turn on lights in the windows of the main building so that everyone can have a very special experience on the way home.
Coffee, cake and drinks are sold from 18 p.m. Food brought in can be enjoyed in the park.
