The 1872 storm surge in Gedesby

Welcome to a historic walk around Gedesby on the south falster of approx. 10 km. We follow the ravages of the storm surge in 1872 through Gedesby and the surrounding area, while the general history of the town slowly unfolds in between as well. 

Along the way, you can hear audio narrations that tell small stories about some of the places you pass. Nature, the storm surge, working life, people's life, development and decommissioning.
