Borrow the Riding House at Pederstrup

Loan of the Riding House at the Reventlow Museum for cultural events in the summer of 2023

Do you have a good idea for an exciting event that will fit into the Riding House in Reventlow Park? Can your event help to create life and draw people to our beautiful spot on Vestlolland? Does your idea need a large room that might otherwise be difficult to find? So send a suggestion and help bring life to the old buildings.

In the period from 1 May to 15 September 2022, Museum Lolland-Falster, in collaboration with Lolland Municipality, will open a loan for the beautiful 150-year-old riding house for cultural activities.

The riding house can be borrowed by associations or cultural actors who want to create cultural, artistic or historical events. The events must be publicly available and must be announced publicly, but admission is welcome.

The activities can be both stand-alone events such as concerts and theater performances or longer-term exhibitions. Limited only by imagination.

You can either borrow the Riding House of 480 m2 or the Herskabsstalden of 165 m2, or both premises. Loan of the premises is free, but you have to pay for final cleaning and electricity consumption based on meter reading. The borrower is responsible for obtaining the necessary permits from the fire and police authorities.

If you have a project that fits in the Riding House, send a project description to Museum Lolland-Falster no later than 31 January 2023. Museum Lolland-Falster will then make a selection among the projects that meet the criteria. The selection will look at the quality and potential scope of the projects. Applicants will be notified if their project has been selected by 8 February 2023 at the latest.

The project description must include:

  1. A description of the event on a maximum of one A4 page.
  2. Information on how many days the event lasts and how many days you need before and after to set up and clean up.
  3. Desired dates and information on whether you are interested in alternative dates if your date wishes cannot be met.
  4. Expected number of participants and information on whether the event is fully funded.
  5. Information about who is responsible for the event and contact information: name, address, email address and telephone number.

The project description is sent as a pdf file to museum inspector Louise Sebro at los@museumlollandfalster.dk no later than 31 January 2023.
