NORDMUS is a network between museums and cultural heritage institutions in Denmark and Germany, working with Danish and German cultural heritage, cultural history and art history.
NORDMUS' purpose is to strengthen cooperation between existing institutions, so the museums and the cultural heritage institutions i NORDMUS can undertake joint projects for the common good.
Administration
The secretariat communicates with the members via e-mail and website www.nordmus.eu.
The executive committee meets at least twice a year. The one time in connection with Nordmus annual museum association conference – annual meeting.
The executive committee decides on the budget, the selection of a coordinator, the location of the secretariat and where the next meetings will be held.
The ongoing coordination is primarily handled by the secretariat, but with member involvement in connection with planning and holding the annual meeting.
The role of coordinator is taken up as a fixed point at the executive committee's spring meeting and at the annual meeting.
The Executive Committee
The directors of Museum Vestsjælland, Museum Lolland-Falster and Oldenburg Wallmuseum form 2021-2023 a decision-making executive committee for Nordmus- connected. The secretariat is run by Museum Lolland-Falster.

NORDMUS annual meeting – Conference
The annual meeting is held over up to three days. On the first day, the organizational annual meeting is held for all members. The second day is reserved for a theme conference and the last day can be used for a study tour/exchange of experiences/excursion. The coming year's topic must be presented and decided the year before and subsequently confirmed at the executive committee's spring meeting.
