City walk: Medieval Maribo

Join an exciting city walk in the medieval Maribo! Hear about when the monastery dominated the cityscape, about life in the monastery and not least life outside. And what really lay here before the monastery was founded? We walk in the city, past the cathedral with the monastery ruins, along the lake and past the place where the city's old parish church was located, while we talk about Maribo and how not least the monastery came to characterize the city.

Meeting place: On the square in front of the old town hall.

Guide: medieval archaeologist Signe Fog Mogensen.
