EGN event: For a party at Pederstrup

Come to the anniversary party in Ridehuset when we recreate the last count's 25th anniversary dinner at Pederstrup!

Dream back to the day in 1918, when the last count at Pederstrup Manor on Lolland invited 400 guests to dinner in a festively decorated riding hall to celebrate its 25th anniversary.

This spring evening we invite you inside for a re-creation of the magnificent dinner. The evening begins with a glass of sparkling wine, which can be enjoyed while strolling in the park or visiting the chef, who prepares the food by the large wood-burning stove in the manor kitchen. It is the skilled chef Peter Nøhr of the EGN project who reinterprets the menu that was served to the count's guests. And when you sit down at the table in Ridehuset, you will be able to experience a dinner that in those days could impress both the count couple's noble friends and the somewhat poorer farm workers with dishes such as roast beef and vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce.

Along the way, Museum Lolland-Falster's skilled inspectors, dressed in historical costumes, will tell about the time, the manor house, the count couple, the food, the wine and the party as the culmination of the Reventlow family's life in Pederstrup.

The menu consists of:

Starter

• Long-lasting simmered beef soup with soufflé buns, herbal oil and seasonal greens

Main course

• Long-term braised veal shank with red wine sauce
• Confit potato with lemon thyme and browned butter
• Crispy cabbage salad with sour citrus fruits

Dessert

• Vanilla parfait with caramelized nuts and berry sauce

For this, a wine, beer or juice menu is served (selected when buying tickets).

Practical information:
The doors open at 16, where you are welcome to come and walk around and enjoy the park and take a look at the busy manor house kitchen prior to dinner.
