Christmas at Herregården

Get in the Christmas spirit at the Reventlow Museum!

For the first time, the Reventlow Museum opens its doors for an atmospheric visit to a Christmas-decorated Pederstrup.

Experience the manor beam of candles in the dim light of November, see what the very first small Christmas trees looked like, which appeared on the Danish manors in the first decades of the 1800th century - and dream back to the Christmas party in 1860, when you enter the large Christmas tree in the large hall of the manor.

Here you can cut a "Lolland Swan" for your own Christmas tree - a piece of Christmas decoration that, according to a family tradition, originates from Pederstrup in the middle of the 1800th century.

Finally, do not miss a visit to the housewife who brams and bakes by the large wood stove. Here you can also buy something good for the palate, which can be enjoyed at the small tables in the old wine cellar.

Inaugurate the Christmas season with a visit to the Reventlow Museum this first Advent weekend, when the museum is open both Saturday 27 November and Sunday 28 November from 12 to 17.
