Special event: Manor Day

Experience a festive day at the Reventlow Museum with gunpowder and balls - dresses and quadrilles!
We rewind the time back to the early 1800s. Denmark is at war with England and on the continent the Napoleonic Wars are rippling back and forth.
In Reventlowparken, the historical soldiers from Faaborg Kanonérlaug set up their camp and tell about soldiers' lives, equipment and weapons. During the day the cannon is fired and the musketeers and soldiers exercise.
Inside the manor, life goes on in the shadow of the war. Musicians in historical costumes play up to the ball and Danish Empire dancers show how to dance on the balls.
The museum's staff show costumes and tell about the beginning of the 1800th century as well as the Reventlow family's thoughts on the war.
The event costs regular museum admission, which is paid at the ticket office.
Unless otherwise stated, the event will be held in Danish.
