ABOUT FREDERIKKE
Café Frederikke is named after Charlotte Frederikke Reventlow née von Beulwitz. Born in Oldenburg in 1747, but grew up in Sorø.
In 1774 she married Count Count and Minister of Secrets CDF Reventlow (b. 1748), and thus became Countess of the County of Christianssæde.
The couple had 12 children, 9 of whom grew up. Pederstrup was the family's 'Lolland paradise', where they enjoyed a relaxed life far from the hustle and bustle of Copenhagen.
Frederikke died at Pederstrup in 1822.
