EGN event: For coffee in Czarens Hus

Come inside one of Denmark's oldest inns when EGN Lolland-Falster and Museum Lolland-Falster invite you to a historic cake table in Czarens Hus.

We cover up for an experience beyond the usual, where cake and pastries go hand in hand with the good story. Join us on a sensuous and tasteful journey through the history of the cake from medieval fat cakes to 1900th century whipped cream cakes.

The inn's cake menu:

• Pancakes
• Sister cake
• Napoleon hats
• Ruby stone cake
• Potato cake

In addition, coffee / tea ad libitum.

All cakes are baked by Bagermester Steen from Nykøbing F. according to original recipes.

The afternoon's hosts are museum inspectors Anne-Lotte Sjørup Mathiesen and Vibeke Knöchel Christensen.

The event is not suitable for children under 7 years.

EGN is a food culture project, which is based on the food's ability to gather, support and strengthen the common connection, cohesion and pride based on Lolland-Falster's rich food culture. EGN is rooted in both history, present and future. EGN is for everyone!
